Matt Leacock est un concepteur de jeux et d'expérience utilisateur américain qui est probablement mieux connu pour avoir créé le jeu très populaire Pandemic. Il conçoit des jeux à plein temps depuis 2014. Avant cela, il était concepteur d'expérience utilisateur chez Sococo, Yahoo!, AOL, Netscape et Apple. 

Il conçoit les jeux auxquels il veut jouer et enseigner. Il a du mal à imaginer faire de la conception de jeux pour un salaire.
